There are a few approaches that one can take when looking into making money with web sites. You can concentrate on a few web sites that make moderate income, hundreds of web sites that make a small income, or one web site that is your “bread and butter.” There is no right method and which ever you choose you will still make some money.

Want to make a great profit from your web traffic? DON’T SELL ADVERTISING ON YOUR WEBSITE! Sounds ridiculous, right? Wrong. Think about what advertisements on your website actually do. When you sell a banner ad or text link on your site you are sending traffic away from your page to somebody else’s page where they could potentially purchase someone else’s product. You are basically using your website, that you pay for to help someone else build their business and pad their pockets. You should be using that valuable space to promote your business and pad your own pockets.

As of this morning anyone searching for “Project Payday Review” on Google will see a blog I own in the number 1 position on the first page. I wrote the review and posted it on my make money for beginners blog on January 10, 2007 and just over a month later it is number 1 out of 1,270,000 competitors on Googles index.
